En este trabajo se presentan los resultados preliminares de la investigación "Victimización en las escuelas" realizada, en 2003, en cinco capitales de estados brasileños -Belem, Salvador, Río de Janeiro, San Pablo y Porto Alegre- así como en el Distrito Federal. El objetivo fue analizar las diferentes modalidades de violen- cia escolar -particularmente infracciones y delitos- y sus consecuencias para alum- nos, profesores, directores y demás miembros del equipo pedagógico. Mediante el relato de dichos actores se rescataron episodios concretos de violencia así como su percepción sobre el fenómeno, con el fin de configurar un amplio panorama sobre la violencia escolar. |
