| Summary, etc. | Para una fracción del Cerro del Potosí en la Sierra Madre Oriental de Nuevo León, México, se elaboró un modelo digital de terreno a partir de fotografías aéreas, como base para la delimitación y cartografía de ocho rodales con diferente sitio y vegetación. En cada rodal se establecieron tres sitios de muestreo de 500 m2, obteniéndose parámetros dendrométricos y de posición de los árboles. Para la totalidad de los sitios se determinaron abundancia (N/ha) y dominancia (m2/ha); se desarrolló asimismo un análisis de la estructura vertical de estos ecosistemas. El análisis de la estructura vertical de los rodales se desarrolló mediante la conformación de tres estratos de altura. La ubicación de las distintas especies en los diferentes estratos se explica fundamentalmente por sus características de tolerancia. |
