En este trabajo se presenta la implementación de un laboratorio en tiempo real para fines educacionales e investigación colaborativa en el área de Control Automático. La infraestructura de red de datos utilizada es Internet de alta velocidad (Internet2 en América). Se presentan las principales consideraciones de su desarrollo, como son: los procedimientos de verificación del enlace de red, procedimiento de instalación de aplicaciones y puesta en marcha. El proceso utilizado es el control de temperatura de un estanque de agua. La aplicación final muestra que una adecuada evaluación del enlace de red, una buena caracterización de la planta y el uso de adecuados protocolos de comunicación y videoconferencia, permiten desarrollar sistemas con un aporte significativo a la educación y al trabajo colaborativo. |
