Este articulo analiza la problematica de la evaluacion del aprendizaje, usando pruebas estandarizadas, en poblaciones indigenas desde el punto de vista de las oportunidades educativas. Combinando conceptos de la psicologia transcultural, la antropologia y la psicometría, se presentan los principales factores que afectarian las inferencias realizadas a partir de los resultados de las pruebas aplicadas a estudiantes indigenas, Finalmente, se resumen las limitaciones de los examenes estandarizados y se presentan algunas recomendaciones para circunscribir las inferencias hechas a partir de los resultados en estas pruebas. |
