Edited from the Dār al-kutub manuscript (also used as the basis of the 1997 edition), with material from the Azhar manuscript (the primitive version, preserved in the library of al-Azhar, Cairo, in manuscript 30714) incorporated in the annotations.
The sequence of 38 unnumbered leaves contain a color facsimile of leaves 247-284 of the al-Azhar manuscript (Maktabah al-Azharīyah, manuscript 30714, containing the text of the primitive version.
Appendix Two includes a Spanish paraphrase of the original Arabic, as found in the manuscript Bologna, Biblioteca universitaria D 565. The paraphrase is followed by an English translation.
